My Philosophy
I believe birth is incredibly beautiful and powerful. It is a sacred moment and quite possibly one of the most important and life changing events in a woman's life. I believe if women can carry the courage and strength they gain from a positive birth experience and transfer those qualities to their daily life the possibilities are endless. As a doula I believe in supporting your strength, and acknowledging the choices you make. It is a privilege to witness birth. It is profound.
I am a mother, a wife, a sister, an Aunty, a friend and a DOULA
My journey into becoming a Doula started when I was pregnant with my daughter. After seeing my Gynecologist she swiftly stated how my body frame would NEVER be able to cope or be able to give birth naturally. I was gutted and so disappointed that I wouldn’t have a chance to give birth naturally. After many hours of research I decided to continue with my instinct and started to prepare mentally to give natural. When that day arrived, and I went into labor, I trusted every fiber in my body. I COULD DO THIS ... and I did. I had my daughter within 2 hours.

Fast forward 2 years later I fell pregnant with my second daughter. I wanted to push my boundaries and opted for a HomeBirth. With the help of my two incredible midwifes I delivered my own baby at home in my bathtub. It was perfect !
Having such an incredible birthing experience with both my daughters i wanted to be able to share my story and be able to help and support other women to experience their perfect birth.
